However, two further packs of Nintendo themed DLC are coming over the next nine months. Currently available is a free pack of three super-deformed Mercedes cars, the GLA, 300 SL Roadster and Silver Arrow. In a move that many Mario Kart fans have been hoping for, Nintendo have finally announced plans for additional downloadable content for Mario Kart 8. The latter being available as soon as you preorder. Little else is known about the pack, but buying both packs will also grant you access to eight different coloured Yoshis and Shy Guys. The second pack then arrives in May 2015 and brings Animal Crossing characters, Isabelle and the Villager along with the welcome return of Dry Bowser. The Mario Kart-ified version of F-Zeros Mute City is much. Link, Tanooki Suit Mario and Cat Suit Peach will be joining the roster and there’ll be karts (like Blue Falcon) and tracks from F-Zero amongst other popular Nintendo franchises (possibly Excitebike) as well as returning tracks like Wario’s Goldmine. Excitebike Arena is probably the dullest of these, full of long, wide straightaways and a lot of very repetitive Excitebike-style ramps. Wes from Family Gamer TV has been looking at the upcoming Zelda and Animal Crossing DLC packs to see what they will add to the already packed Mario Kart 8.įirst up in November is the Zelda pack, containing three new characters, four new karts and eight new tracks split across two cups. Excitebike Arena is one of the DLC courses included in Mario Kart 8s DLC Pack 1 and even if you dont need a trailer to convey why Excitebike and Mario. Excitebike Arena is part of the 1st DLC pack coming to Mario Kart 8įeaturing remixed music from the original game and the series’ trademark aesthetics and racing track design, Excitebike Arena looks to shake up the Mario Kart formula by diving into other Nintendo properties. Now that Mario Kart 8s DLC Pack 1 is out in the wild, which new circuit or re-imaged classic track is your favorite so far Personally, Im enjoying them all but I do love that Excitebike Arena.
